The University of Zintan Journal of Applied Sciences (UZJAS) is a peer-reviewed academic scientific journal published by the University of Zintan, Libya. The journal is dedicated to publishing original scientific research, applied studies, and review articles in the fields of basic and applied sciences. It seeks to contribute to the dissemination of scientific knowledge, community service, and sustainable development, while adhering to the principles of scientific integrity and academic publication ethics.
The journal is published quarterly, with four issues annually, and publishes research articles in both Arabic and English in accordance with the journal’s established screening and scientific peer-review procedures. The journal adopts a Double-Blind Peer Review system, whereby the identities of authors are concealed from reviewers, and the identities of reviewers are concealed from authors throughout the review process. Each manuscript is assigned to at least two qualified reviewers, with the possibility of involving a third reviewer in the event of a substantial discrepancy between the review reports.
The journal’s editorial bodies work collaboratively to manage editorial processes, initial screening, peer review, and publication, thereby supporting the quality of published research and ensuring compliance with standards of scientific integrity and publication ethics.
